The STAUFF range offers a variety of different quick release couplings made of steel and stainless steel as well as accessories such as dust protection caps for male and female couplings, self-closing hinged covers and seal kits. After taking over Voswinkel, one of the world's five largest manufacturers for quick release couplings in hydraulic systems, STAUFF has been offering a complete product range with couplings of various types and sizes and for maximum operating pressures since 2015. 

Most of the hydraulics quick release couplings comply with international standards.

These include:

  • ISO 16028: Hydraulic fluid power —  Flush-face type, quick-action couplings for use at pressures of 20 MPa (200 bar) to 31.5 MPa (315 bar) 
  • ISO 14541: Hydraulic fluid power —  Dimensions and requirements for screw-to-connect quick-action couplings  for general purpose 
  • ISO 18869: Hydraulic fluid power —  Test methods for couplings actuated with or without tools 
  • ISO 5675: Agricultural tractors and machinery —  General purpose quick-action hydraulic couplers 
  • ISO 7241-1: Hydraulic fluid power — Quick-action couplings —  Part 1: Dimensions and requirements 
  • ISO 7241-2: Hydraulic fluid power — Quick-action couplings —  Part 2: Test methods (replaced by ISO 18869) 

 

More than just male and female couplings – quick release couplings from STAUFF

Depending on the series, quick release couplings from STAUFF can be coupled under pressure, feature our high-quality zinc–nickel coating, are universally exchangeable, can be ergonomically actuated with one hand and are available with a ball valve or as a flat face version. Whether push–pull couplings or threaded models, all products are free from hexavalent chromium Cr (VI) and comply with ELV as per 2000/53/EC (End of Life Vehicles Directive), with REACH as per 1907/2006/EC (Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemical Substances) and with RoHS as per 2002/95/EC (Restrictions of the Use of Hazardous Substances).  
 
Standard versions of the quick release couplings can be shipped immediately thanks to high stock availability. Custom versions are available from STAUFF to your specifications or based on own developments. The STAUFF services always include extensive support and advice for product selection as well as assembly and pre-assembly.
