Designation Change

In order to be consistent with other components from the STAUFF Clamps product range, where the material and, if applicable, the surface coating are specified exclusively via a material code as part of the ordering designation, the designations of rail nuts made from stainless steel in the Standard Series according to DIN 3015 (Part 1) and the Twin Series according to DIN 3015 (Part 3) have now also been adapted.

These were previously referred to as "SMG". The new designation is now "SM".

Therefore, the ordering designations of rail nuts made from stainless steel 1.4301 / 1.4305 or AISI 304 / 303 (STAUFF material code W4) and stainless steel 1.4401 / 1.4571 or AISI 316 / 316 Ti (STAUFF material code W5) correspond to those for the products made from carbon steel.

In addition to the designations of individual parts, ordering designations of complete clamps / clamps assemblies, which include rail nuts made from stainless steel, have also been adapted correspondingly.
